What is Inspirational Clips?
Inspirational Clips is a subscription-based software program that lets you arrange for short motivational videos, images, or audio files to automatically play on your computer/laptop (in the future) whenever you startup or shut down your computer. You get to determine in advance which media files will play at those times.
The system consists of the following 3 main components:
- Website: Visitors learn about our system and then sign up for a subscription.
- Web App: Customers can access our large repository of inspiratory media files and select media files to play at future computer startup and shutdown.
- Desktop App: This includes the actual media player that will be installed on the customer’s computer and that will play the preselected media files at the designated times (startup and/or shutdown).
The user has full control to stop, start, change selections, change configurations, discontinue usage or uninstall at any time.
How do I sign up?
Go to our Sign Up Page and select a plan.
Is there a free trial?
Everyone starts with a 7-day free trial. If you have not cancelled by the end of the trial, the monthly or annual plan (whichever one you preselected) will automatically begin at that point.

Do I have to manually renew my subscription
No, all subscriptions renew automatically at the end of the billing cycle. You can cancel at any time via the Web App or by contacting Support.
Where can I view or manage my subscription details?
Log in to the Web App to view and manage your subscription details effortlessly.
Licensing & Activation
How do I activate the Desktop App?
At signup, you’ll receive a license key. To activate your subscription:
Enter the key in the Desktop App.
The App will validate your subscription with our licensing server.
Can I install the Desktop App on multiple devices?
Yes, each user license allows you to install the Desktop App on 3 personal computers/laptops. If you have a group, contact us for assistance.
What happens if my subscription lapses?
The Desktop App periodically verifies your subscription status. If payment fails or you cancel, your license key will be deactivated. You will no longer be able to play media clips unless/until you reactivate your subscription.

Which operating systems are supported?
Windows 10, Windows 11, macOS 13, and later macOS versions.
What file types are compatible?
Videos: MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, WMV, FLV, and WebM
Images: JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIFF, BMP, PDF, WebP, HEIF/HEIC, PSD, EPS, AI, SVG, ICO, TGA, PCX, XCF, EXR, JPEG 2000, DNG, and WMF
Audio: MP3, WAV, AAC, FLAC, OGG, WMA, ALAC, AIFF, M4A (MPEG-4 Audio), and DSD
Can I use my own files?
Yes! You can use personal videos, images, or audio files. Just ensure that you have the legal rights

Do you offer a money-back guarantee?
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for Annual subscriptions, starting right after the 7-day free trial. Please note that Monthly plans are not covered by this guarantee. For further details, refer to our Refund Policy.
How do I request a refund?
There are three ways that you can request a refund:
- In the Web App.

Refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days once approved.

All payment data is handled by our eCommerce platform, Lemon Squeezy, using their PCI DSS-compliant systems.

Troubleshooting
My clips aren’t playing at startup or shutdown. What do I do?
Ensure that you have selected your preferred media file(s) in the Web App and synced them to the Desktop App.
Verify that the Desktop App is installed correctly and that your license is active.
