Single User, Multiple Devices
A license allows a single named user to install and use Inspirational Clips on up to three personal computers/laptops, provided that the user does not share the license key with a third party.
The software is designed for use on computers and laptops but is not compatible with mobile phones or tablets.
For commercial or multi-user setups, additional seats or an enterprise license is required. Please contact us for details.
Non-Transferable
The license is granted to the user alone. The user may not sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or transfer rights to any third party.
Use in Accordance with Terms of Service
The user must comply with our Terms of Service, which outline prohibited uses, such as reverse-engineering or distributing the Desktop App.

Welcome to our Licensing Model page. This section details how Inspirational Clips (“we,” “us,” or “our”) issues, manages, and enforces software licenses.
By purchasing a subscription or accessing Inspirational Clips, you agree to comply with our licensing terms.
License Overview
Inspirational Clips is a subscription-based software platform. Instead of outright ownership, you acquire a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use our Desktop App and Web App under a valid subscription.
We offer:
Monthly License
Renews automatically every 30 days.
Cancel anytime to stop further billing.
Annual License
Renews automatically every 12 months.
Includes a 14-day money-back guarantee (after a 7-day free trial).
License Key Generation & Distribution
Purchase Flow
When a customer purchase’s a monthly or annual subscription, Lemon Squeezy sends a secure HTTPS webhook to Inspirational Clips’s licensing endpoint containing the order details.
License Key Creation
Our licensing service creates a unique, digitally-signed license file using an RSA private key.
The corresponding RSA public key is stored in our database and embedded in the Desktop App for future verification.
The signed license key is returned to Lemon Squeezy, which emails it to the customer along with the download links—all over HTTPS.
Desktop App Activation
After installing the Desktop App, the customer enters the customer’s license key in the activation dialog. The app will connect via HTTPS/TLS 1.2+ to the licensing server to verify the digital signature and activate the subscription. Once validated, the customer then has full access to the features included in the customer’s chosen plan.
How Licensing Works
Periodic Validation
The Desktop App periodically makes encrypted HTTPS requests to the licensing server to confirm that the user’s subscription is still active. If a payment fails or the subscription lapses, the licensing system can automatically deactivate the key and limit functionality.
Signed URLs for Media
To safeguard premium repository content, the platform generates short-lived signed URLs (AWS S3 + Amazon CloudFront) using server-side RSA keys. Only authenticated, licensed users can download or stream media over HTTPS.
Updates
With an active license, the customer is entitled to receive the latest updates. All update packages and API calls are delivered over CA-trusted HTTPS connections to ensure integrity and security
Permitted Usage
License Termination & Renewal
1. Automatic Renewal
Both monthly and annual licenses automatically renew unless canceled before the billing date.
Cancellation can be managed through the Web App or via our Support team.
2. Termination Conditions
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend licenses if we detect:
Violation of our Terms of Service.
Non-payment of subscription fees.
Any misuse or abuse of the license key.
3. License Restoration
If your account is suspended due to overdue payments or cancellations, restoring service may require:
Reactivating your subscription.
Settling any outstanding amounts.
Intellectual Property Notice
Ownership: All content (video files, images, audio, code, text) provided in or via Inspirational Clips belongs to Wellington Media or its licensors.
Limited License: Your subscription grants you the right to use our service for personal or organizational use only, in line with the permitted usage described above.
Trademarks & Logos: “Inspirational Clips,” “Wellington Media,” and related marks are our trademarks. You may not use these without our prior written permission.
